The church was formed in response to a patriarchate request to join the Roman Catholic Church, known as the Schism of 1552, which in turn split the Church of the East into two religious factions; Catholicism and The Church of the East. After the establishment of the modern Chaldean Catholic Church of Babylon in 1552 AD, the patriarchate was established at Mosul, Iraq. In 1683 AD, it was moved to Baghdad, Iraq where it has remained since. ==See also== *List of Chaldean Catholic Patriarchs of Babylon 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Chaldean Catholic Patriarchate of Babylon」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
